About
Emily Irish is a Brooklyn based CG Generalist with a focus on modeling and lookdev. She brings a varied skillset to a team, working primarily with Zbrush, Maya, Substance, the Adobe suite, and Houdini. She also has introductory experience working real-time with Unreal and Unity. Emily is currently open to hybrid and in-person opportunities.
Recently she was with Artjail for a little over 3 years, where she worked on projects for major brands such as Doritos, Domino's, and IBM. She prides herself with facing her work with compassion, and determination.
Prior to her time at Artjail, she challenged herself with completing a 3DDMP/environment artist training academy with The Focus/Technicolor. There she built upon generalist skills while learning from artists working at MPC and Mr X. She is a team-oriented, a three-time Siggraph volunteer, two-time Outward Bound alum, and member of Women in Animation. Additionally, Emily's background in traditional art such as painting, sculpture and photography provides an important foundation for her digital work.
In Emily's free time, you can find her training/caring for animals, cycling to the beach, boxing, hiking and doing water changes with her fish-tanks. She loves to step outside her comfort zone, whether it's dog sledding, learning how to weld, or traveling somewhere new.
